
On Thursday November 17th, the 8th grade UTMS Boys Basketball team defeated the Lake Ridge Warriors 47 – 43. The offense was led by Logan Fox with 20 points, Kingston Shivers 10 points, Conner Welch 6 points, Koltin Kingery 6 points, Sean Schafer 4 points and Jax Alvarez 1 point. The defense played solid despite giving 5 three pointers. Their rebounding is improving which allowed the Bearcats to win this highly competitive game. UTMS 7th grade won 25-22 against Lake Ridge the leading scorers were; Dylan Gore 8pts, Cash Micciche 7pts, Cash Kostbade 6pts, Logan Hunt 4pts ,Julian Blevins 2pts, Levi Murray 2pts. The 6th grade also opened their season last night with a strong showing and winning 24-10.
The 7 and 8th grade Bearcats next game is Tuesday November 22nd at home against the Whiting Oilers. Game time is 5:30 pm. While the 6th grade is on the road that day at Whiting at 5:30.

The offense was led by Jax Alvarez with 11 points, Kingston Shivers 10 points, Koltin Kingery 5 points, Conner Welch 4 points, Sean Schafer 3 points, Logan Fox 3 points, Andrew Ball 2 points, Brennan Dobson 2 points, Keegan Catone, Christian Bouma, Erik Diaz and Jack Gaetz. The defense dominated the entire game with their swarming and relentless ball hawking holding the Hawks to 10 points. The Bearcats next game is Thursday November 17th at home against the Lake Ridge Warriors. Game time is 5:00 pm.
